This past week, Rabbi Gilad Kariv attended the South African Union of Progressive Judaism's Biennial Conference. While in Johannesburg, Rabbi Kariv had the opportunity to discuss the current state of Reform and Progressive Judaism on CHAI Radio 101.9 FM. The discussion included Rabbi Kariv's thoughts on the advances made by the Progressive Jewish Movement in South Africa, the demand for Jewish diversity in communities around the world, and the importance of carrying forth and preserving the story of our heritage. Special thanks to Reeva Forman of South Africa and the SAUPJ for coordinating this interview!
